Please let me know what you think of the new look in the comments and if there are any problems with it, feel free to let me know!
Exclusive Interview with Stefano
We were able to get a exclusive interview with Stefano on July 8, 2013 and he answered YOUR questions regarding his album, Hollywood Records, who he would like to work with and what he has planned for the future and more. If you post this interview on your site or blog, please give a link back to stefano-langone.com. I just want to thank all the fans who sent questions in and of course Stefano for being so cool and giving us a interview. We appreciate it!!
Q: You have recently tweeted about some changes being made in your career, are you able to elaborate on that a bit?
I’ve recently parted ways with both 19 management and red light management. I’ve really been able to focus on creating my own team that not only believes in my vision, but wants to see it come to life. Im not rushing to find a manager at this point, but will stay cognizant and open minded to the right fit for the future. So far already great players have joined the team, things are looking up
Q: Your music videos for “I’m On a Roll” and “Yes To Love” are awesome! I have them on my iPod, what was it like to get to film your own music videos?
Both videos were so great and meaningful to me in their own ways. “Im on a roll” was really about seeing my vision come to life. I came up with lots of the ideas for the video, and to see the final outcome was unreal! “Yes to love” was art. From the shots, to the acting, the love, everything. Passion in a video like that is so important and I think we really executed that in a very tasteful way.
Q: You have already accomplished so much and had so much success in the short time since Idol, what is something else you hope to accomplish in the next year?
Well first of all, I live by respecting my past and hoping for my future. That being said, the goals I have not reached yet far exceed what Ive already accomplished. Ill be the first to tell you what I haven’t done, but also the first to say I will. The more I think about it, the more I want it, the more I will do to work for it. I work to be successful. I work to win. Hope to accomplish? I hope to be where my fans and I believe I will be, and much further then where the people who don’t believe ever imagined. #LetsWin
Q: All of us fans are so excited for your album, when do you think it will be released and
is it finished?
This is bit of a sore subject for me in lots of ways. The reality is if “Yes to Love” was a bigger radio hit we’d probably be talking about the album rather then when its coming. At this point know one thing, Im working on something big, something I’m putting a lot of thought into with great help. The playing field has changed, and you WILL be getting more music very soon. You can count on it.
Q: Do you feel social media has become the best way to reach out to your fans?
Social media is easily the best way when it comes to reaching everyone from all over the world at one time. I’m looking to set up a video chat soon, and possibly a live performance over the web! Stay tuned
Q: A lot of us fans are hoping for a “Stefano Tour”, can we expect that soon?
Soon? I don’t know. Will there be a Stefano Tour. Of course there will be. Timing is everything, and I just don’t know at this point!
Q: After the amazing duet between you and Pia Toscano with Rihanna’s “California King Bed” during the Idol tour, would you consider doing another duet with Pia on your album?
Pia is a great. Our voices together was a beautiful thing. Im sure if the perfect scenario presented itself I’d be down.
Q: The old saying about hindsight being 20/20 is usually true. In hindsight, do you still think Hollywood Records is the best fit for you of all the options you had? – Dana @Just_Dana_
Always keeping me on the swivel Dana haha
Honestly, I can’t answer that question yet. I don’t think we’ve done exactly what we’ve intended to do yet, from both parties stance.. If that makes any sense. I think before I had lots of hoops to jump through before I could even get a clear view of what Hollywood wanted. Now its much more clear, and I have more control of my own destiny. Answer to you question. I think so. But we will see. And soon.
Q: When can we expect a new single and some new music? – @LangoneLady
Yes you can
Q: What was it like to work with the amazing group of producers you have had for your debut album? – Dana, @Just_Dana_
The amount of gifted people I was able to work with was really a dream come true. Between Rock Mafia, a group of people who really showed me how to master the art of being in the studio and executing at a high level. It really started there. Then came Toby Gadd and ASCAP france writing camp and all the amazing writers and producers there. I learned so much, created some amazing things, and made some pretty great relationships.
Q: What is your favorite song or artist out right now?
Im a huge fan of Pharrell. To see him come back the way he did was huge. Again, timing is everything, a lot of people were saying he was done and out. Look at him now.
Q: Who would you really like to work with that you haven’t had the chance to yet on your album?
The guy I just mentioned would be magic. I already know.
Q: What is the biggest challenge for you (if any) in making this album? – @RazTaz21
Getting people to listen. Really listen. I know I have good material, I know I have the voice and the work ethic. I think a lot of those pieces are there. Now all I need is that audience.
Q: Any chance we will see you cross over to acting and modeling? You have massive potential to be a big triple threat – @RazTaz21
Thanks Razzy Imma step ahead of you, got a photo shoot next week really looking forward to showing you guys that side of me.
Q: You have done a couple movie auditions. What type of role would you play? Or what type of movie would you like to star in? – Dana,
I think right now I’t's about opportunity. I acted a lot in high school and college, playing any role comes easy to me. I think establishing myself to these agents and that world is important for my brand and artistry.
Q: When you celebrated Paul’s wedding, what song did you sing? – @hosinonagia
The Perfect Stranger
Q: What’s the most embarrassing song on your ipod? – RazTaz21
My iPod is so clutch!!! Embarrassing…. My neck my back LOL
Q: Are you single or taken? – Terri, @MedinaTerri
Terri… How did I know that question was coming LOL Im very single! Cant lie I did have a girl for awhile there, but it was time to move on and do me. Im having fun and enjoying meeting new people.
Q: We saw you present at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards last year, will you be attending the show again this year?
I don’t know… I don’t think I’m going back to any of these shows until I have something to show for
Q: What is the last movie you went to go see and how did you like it? – Dana, @Just_Dana_
“This is the End” Hilarious!!! Def recommended
Q: Do you have a message for your fans you would like to leave the interview with?
First and for most , I’m here because of each and everyone of you. I see your passion and love, and it inspires me everyday. I feel like a team, when I do something, its like we all do something. When I succeed, we all succeed. Truly in it together. So thank you for sticking with it, thank you for persevering and believing. Thank you for always being inspired, for always loving, and not letting hate bring you down. And realizing the ones that hate, hate themselves. Each and everyone of you are connected to me in some way. We are GREAT people, with great goals and aspirations, and only wanna do great things while were here. Keep the love, keep it real, and #LETSWIN
Much love always
Our Exclusive Interview With Stefano on July 9th!
Hey guys! Our interview with Stefano has been changed to TOMORROW, July 9th! Make sure you check back
Stefano Parts Ways with 19 and RedLight Management
From the moment Stefano Langone began his American Idol journey, he was a survivor.
The season 10 finalist, who’s signed to Hollywood Records, will self-manage his career. “I can strategize and feel great about it,” he tells THR.

The season 10 alum, who was rescued from elimination as Jennifer Lopez’s wild card pick, persevered during the competition, eventually finishing in seventh place. After the show, he secured a record deal with Hollywood Records and management contracts with 19 Entertainment and Red Light Management. But in an exclusive interview, Langone tells The Hollywood Reporter that he has severed ties with both 19 Entertainment and Red Light, and is taking control of his own destiny by managing himself.
“Truth be told, I had left 19 back in January of this year,” he says. “It really just came down to one thing: my vision — what I wanted to do and the amount of time that we were actually engaging with each other. I rarely ever talked to 19 Entertainment about anything relating to my career and where I wanted to go.”
As for Red Light, Stefano says that, at the beginning, they were working together “100 percent,” but that the management company wasn’t “getting it as well.”

The 24-year old Kent, Washington native does have good news, however, for fans: he remains with Hollywood Records and is working on new material, including a mix tape. He’s also building a home studio and bringing in his old team from Seattle, Lazar Music. Among his collaborators: songwriting partner, Rush Davis, songwriters Priscilla Renea and The Futuristics and Idol bandleader Ray Chew.
“This is just the beginning,” says Langone excitedly. “I’ve been independent for two weeks now. I’ve already got shows lined up. Getting out there and being in control of my own destiny… I like it this way and it gives me a great opportunity to work with the label on a more one-on-one basis. I can get in there, strategize and feel great about it.”
So what happened? Langone says that, essentially, he and his management weren’t on the same page. “I am not one of those artists that gets handed songs and records them,” he explains. “I write a lot of music, and knowing what direction to take … Hollywood gets it in a way. They signed me when I got on the piano and showed them what I do — how I play and how I sing. They are not willing to let that go.”
Langone, who is now based in Los Angeles, says he feels confident in his decision partly because of encouragement he received from Disney Group president Ken Bunt. “He called me personally and said, ‘Regardless of the decisions you’ve made, I respect you for that and we will stick behind you 100 percent.’ I am very fortunate to have a label like Hollywood behind me.”

Since signing with Hollywood Records, Langone has released two singles: the summer party anthem, “I’m On A Roll,” and the romantic slow jam, “Yes to Love.” Despite the initial success of “I’m On A Roll” with 20,000 downloads upon its release, neither single gained traction at radio.
“They were great records for what they were,” Langone defends. “‘I’m On a Roll’ was a summer fun record. It got great reviews, sold a heck of a lot but there was no real push behind that record. And then ‘Yes to Love,’ which is a really heartfelt record, there wasn’t enough innovation. The ideas behind these records weren’t there. They weren’t executed the right way. They could have been. That being said — I’m still here. The label believes in what I do. So now it’s about taking that next move.”
With the American Idol season 12 tour getting ready to hit the road, Langone adds that the time is now for the current Idols to make their mark. “This is the most pivotal point,” he says. “You are really fending for yourself. And you could look at it from that perspective on the show. I didn’t, unfortunately.”
Speaking from experience, Langone recalls his summer on the road, when he waited patiently as James Durbin and Casey Abrams each got record deals. “They got signed for a reason,” he says. “That’s what made our season so great. We all had our own niche and truly believed that it was just the beginning.”
And even if a restart is in order, Langone insists: “I’m really enjoying this time in my life and I feel like something special is around the corner. Now, with my team I’m going to go out there and take it by storm. Why not?”
